Preferably 21 years old and above (Student/Working Adults/ Retired Adults)

Preferably staying around Toa Payoh area, especially for adhoc doctor visits to GPs, if needed by senior
Skills
Comfortable interacting with seniors face to face.
Able to converse well with seniors in English/Mandarin, knowledge of dialects will be good. Malay or Tamil speaking volunteers will be good to engage minority seniors.
Be observant and report any unusual behavior or situation during medical appointment.
Physically fit, able to push a wheelchair.
Able to spend 2-4 hours or longer with senior for each appointment.
Good organizational skills - be able to complete online feedback form within 24 hours of engagement with senior.
Responsible and accountable for the tasks assigned.

Volunteer Role Description:
We are looking for volunteers who can help create the storyboard, film and edit a video for our service groups to share about services the service provided.
We have 5 service groups (Children Services, Family and Community Services, Focus Intervention Services, Senior Services and Youth Services).
Each video will be between 1.30 - 2 mins long.

Volunteer Specifications
Age: 18 and above
Gender: Both
Experience: For 18 to 21 years old preferably gerontology and/or social work trained.
Skills: Basic literacy - writing and/or read, able to use phone/tablet to fill up forms, able to engage basic conversation with seniors.
Minimum service: Preferably to be able to volunteer At least 2-3 times after training
At least 1 training before commencing field work.

Volunteer Role Description
The Active Ageing Hub @ Toa Payoh East is looking to partner with volunteers in organising programmes and activities for its daycare clients*.
In this role, the volunteer will expand the current programme offerings and enrich the seniors' lives further during their time in the daycare.
We welcome volunteers to organise programmes and activities on any weekday from 2pm onwards. Each programme is advised to last about 1hr - 1.5hrs.

Volunteer may be required to assist in bringing items to seniors at their homes (ration distribution exercise).
Volunteer may be required to assist seniors to come to the Senior Activity Centre, e.g. fetch and send seniors on wheelchair to the centre for activities.
Volunteers may be required to call seniors to remind them of their classes/workshops/ration collection dates.
